Installing a hot patch

  1. Copy the hot patch file to the active storage floating node (hypercloud-storage) into a temporary directory.
  2. Install the hot patch with hotpatch-add, example: 
    # hotpatch-add /tmp/hypercloud-hotpatch-fix-race-id-3a984af01a.bundle
  3. If there are any hotpatch-specific actions required, they will be communicated with the patch. This is not typical.
